The Global Filter G-Series Wound Depth Filter Cartridge utilizes a wound construction technique where filtration media is wrapped around a central core, creating a three-dimensional matrix that captures particulates throughout the entire filter structure. They are available in a range of micron ratings from 0.5 to 400 microns and lengths from 9.75 to 50 inches. 

The series offers material versatility, with filtration media options including FDA-compliant polypropylene, bleached cotton, FDA bleached cotton, natural cotton, polyester, nylon, and glass fiber. Core materials include polypropylene, 304 and 316 stainless steel, tin, and glass for additional structural and chemical compatibility options. The cartridges come in standard diameters of 2.5 inches or larger 4.5 inches for BB-series variants, with an inside diameter of 1.06 inches.
