Description

The Global Filter GHPS Series Polysulfone Pleated Membrane Cartridge offers exceptional flow rate and loading capability with a highly asymmetrical pore structure. It is ideal for applications that require membrane efficiency and a longer service life. The cartridge's hydrophilic nature allows immediate wet-out and optimizes the utility of the membrane surface area. The GHPS series has a 2.70-inch outer diameter and is offered in 10 to 40-inch lengths.

The GHPS series is manufactured with high-purity, thermally bonded construction for cleanliness and broad compatibility. It has a polysulfone membrane and polypropylene support media, end caps, center core, and outer support cages. Gaskets and o-rings come in Buna, EPDM, silicone, Teflon-encapsulated Viton, Viton, and Teflon materials. An optional post-rinse feature is also available, which provides the cartridge with a quick rinse-up to 18 megaohms.

All units are manufactured in a cleanroom environment to maintain high standards of purity and cleanliness. The materials of the GHPS series meet FDA regulations for food and beverage contact as detailed in the US Code of Federal Regulations, 21 CFR. Materials used to produce filter media and hardware are deemed safe for use in contact with foodstuffs per EU Directives 1935/2004, and/or 10/2011. Polypropylene components meet the specifications for biological safety per USP Class VI - 121˚C for plastics.
