Description
The Global Filter GBFV8-Series Single Bag Liquid Filter Vessel comes with multiple connection options including BSP, NPT, or RF Flanged inlet/outlet configurations. The standard construction includes epoxy-coated exterior support baskets with 9/64" perforations. For enhanced piping flexibility, a uni-style configuration with side and bottom outlets is available. The vessels maintain a 150 PSI pressure rating at 500°F and incorporate easy-access eye-nut/swing-bolt closures with handles for convenient maintenance.
Material options include carbon steel or stainless steel (304 or 316L), with single o-ring seals (Buna-N standard). Additional customization options include ASME Code Stamp certification, CE Mark compliance, electropolished finish, sanitary porting, mesh-lined or perforated baskets, and alternative seal materials including EPDM (required for NSF-61 compliance), Teflon encapsulated Viton, and Viton.
The product line consists of two primary models: GBFV815 (#1 size with 15" basket depth, 2.0 ft² effective filtration area, maximum flow rate of 90 GPM) and GBFV830 (#2 size with 30" basket depth, 4.4 ft² effective filtration area, maximum flow rate of 200 GPM). The manufacturer notes that actual performance can vary depending on contaminant type, fluid properties, flow rates, and environmental conditions, with flow rates significantly reduced when filter bags are installed or when processing higher viscosity fluids.
