The Hilliard Hilco PH530 Synthetic Filter Cartridges offer significant improvements over traditional cellulose cartridges. Their innovative synthetic media design enables lower pressure drop compared to cellulose filters. As a result, switching to PH cartridges can actually decrease system pressure losses while improving filtration performance. 

The PH cartridges utilize a double-layer microglass media sandwiched between protective nylon outer layers. This robust construction is engineered specifically for high flow applications, with rigid pleat support to handle cyclic or pulsating flows.

Additionally, the proprietary synthetic media is impervious to water exposure from steam, humidity, or fluid contamination. Traditional cellulose cartridges can deteriorate or swell under these conditions. The hydrophobic PH media maintains integrity for consistent performance in both wet and dry environments.
