Description
The Coleman Filter Polyester String Wound Depth Filter carries a chemical resistance similar to polypropylene, but with a higher temperature resistance. It is ideal for use in special process applications, concentrated alkalies, and hydrocarbons.
String wound depth filters are created by winding diamonds onto a core with 1 to 4 inches of filtration media. Bleached cotton media filters provide a high dirt holding/retention capability with low media migration. These filters are spun wound to micron ratings from 0.5 to 200 with a temperature rating up to 350°F. Core center material options include polypropylene, tin, 304SS, or 316SS.
Applications
- Organic solvents
