The Hilliard Hilco DM 620/639 Demister Cartridges is a type of filter used to remove liquid droplets and mist from gas or air streams and protect downstream equipment like compressors, instruments, and engines from liquid damage and corrosion. 

The demister cartridge utilizes an inside out flow in order to trap the oil from the air stream and return it to the oil reservoir for reuse. The resulting clean air can be safely released to the atmosphere with no environmental impact whatsoever.
