Description

The AJR Filtration MB Series Melt Blown Cartridge Filter provides depth filtration with a gradient design to trap particles throughout the entire cross section of the filter. The innermost fibers form a tight self-supporting matrix, which eliminates the need for a separate center core. The gradient density allows for optimum dirt holding capacity and minimal change outs. The MB Series cartridges utilize dual micron gradients for two distinct filter zones. 

The cartridges are made entirely of FDA 21CFR 177.1520 compliant polypropylene, which provides exceptional chemical compatibility to handle a wide rang of process fluids. They offer economical filtration with flow rates of up to 5 GPM per 10in length and a maximum operating temperature of 125°F. The cartridges are designed for knife-edge seal housings without the use of gaskets or seals. A wide variety of end cap options are also available.
