The Graver Technologies QCR Series Pleated Filter Cartridge are designed specifically to address water safety concerns related to Cryptosporidium and Giardia parasites. These waterborne pathogens, which are resistant to conventional chlorination treatment, pose significant health risks, particularly to immunocompromised individuals. The QCR filter incorporates an absolute 1-micron filter media that achieves a minimum log reduction of >3.0 for cysts, meeting the requirements of the Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule (LT2).

The cartridges are constructed using polypropylene or a combination of polypropylene and polyethersulfone materials, offering micron ratings of 0.8 and 1.0. They feature double O-ring style ends for enhanced seal integrity and provide 7.0 ft² (0.65 m²) of effective filter area. The product is available in multiple lengths ranging from 5 to 40 inches, with an outside diameter of 2.7 inches and an inside diameter of 1.0 inches.
